Car Accident
this soft-topped jeep fell approximately 10 feet off the edge of a bridge and landed top down in a creek.
Paramedics
Paramedics are ready to serve the community whenever advanced life support services are required on an emergency. Paramedics work out of local area hospitals and are able to start IV lines, perform EKG monitoring and administer emergency medications on scene during an emergency. With their help, our ambulances are readily able to become mobile intensive care units, capable of stabilizing critical medical and trauma patients.

PSEG ELECTRICAL DRILL
RFD recently sponsored an excellent drill in conjunction with PSEG that discussed the dangerous effects of electricity and the unknown and uncommon ways of possible electrocution.

equipped with a VHF/UHF radio system and paging system as well as a computer with high-speed Internet connection for squad member use.
Meeting Room
all business meetings and training drills take place in this spacious room, providing ample room for hands-on training and classroom training.
Kitchen
the furnishings in our kitchen were made possible by donations from Roseland Kiwanis, Unico and Rotary and was dedicated in 1996. Our kitchen is fully functional and includes a microwave, toaster, dishwasher, sink, refrigerator, stove and oven. There is also a spacious dining room attached to the kitchen as well.
Family Room
this room is furnished with three plush, heated massage couches and a big screen TV with surround sound. We also have a Playstation gaming console and a variety of movies and games available at the squad.

RFAS recently underwent the three day CORE 13 EMT-B Refresher program, required every three years in NJ for EMTs to maintain their certification.

Car Accident - Roll Over
this accident occured when a husband reaer ended his wife and ended up rolling his car. Thanks to seatbelts and prompt response from RFAS and RFD, both the husband and wife survived the accident with only minor injuries.
Car Accident - Car vs. Tree
this accident involved a NJ State trooper who was cut off on the highway while in pursuit of another car. He lost control in an attempt to avoid an accident and ended up going off road at high speeds and impacting a tree head on. The state trooper was transported by RFAS to University Hospital and was released with minor injuries.
